Harry Potter fans have been speculating about what a new stage story about the wizarding world might be about, and now they have some answers: the new play from J.K. Rowling will feature an adult Harry Potter and his son, Albus Severus Potter.

The plot will pick up where the books left off, 19 years after the battle with Voldemort—Rowling describes Harry Potter and the Cursed Child as “the eighth story in the series” on her Facebook page. According to a description on the show’s website, the plot will depict Harry as “an overworked employee of the Ministry of Magic, a husband and father of three school-age children.”

“While Harry grapples with a past that refuses to stay where it belongs,” the description continues, “his youngest son Albus must struggle with the weight of a family legacy he never wanted. As past and present fuse ominously, both father and son learn the uncomfortable truth: sometimes, darkness comes from unexpected places.”

The play will run in two parts, which theatergoers can see on the same or separate days. The show opens at the Palace Theatre in London on July 30, and tickets will go on sale Wednesday. Accio seats!

20th Century Fox has set a Summer 2017 release date for Kingsman 2

Earlier this year, Matthew Vaughn’s adaptation of the Mark Millar/Dave Gibbons graphic novel Kingsman: The Secret Service became a surprise hit for 20th Century Fox, grossing $128 million domestically and another $285 million overseas. It also kicked off what would be a year filled with spy thrillers and comedies.

It wasn’t long before a sequel was confirmed with Vaughn thinking of directing it himself, and now we’ve learned that 20th Century Fox isn’t going to wait that long to release a sequel, setting a June 16, 2017 release date for the spy action-comedy that will presumably bring back Taron Egerton’s now fully-trained secret agent.

While there’s no word who else might return from the first movie–if you’ve seen it then you know why it will be hard to bring many characters back, kind of like with another Millar-adapted movie Wanted–it would be the second movie based on one of Millar’s works to get a sequel after Kick-Ass 2, which Vaughn did not return to direct. So far, there hasn’t been any word whether Milllar and Gibbons might continue their story into another “The Secret Service” graphic novel (as Millar did with Kick-Ass) although Vaughn’s movie already diverged away from the comic, so it could theoretically continue on its own trajectory.

So far, the only other movie that has scheduled itself on that June 16, 2017 date is Disney•Pixar’s Cars 3, which shouldn’t have too much cross-over audience with the R-rated action-comedy.

Stay tuned to SuperHeroHype for all the latest updates on Kingsman 2!

''The Force... it's calling to you...''

Bucking (for the most part at least) the current trend for the big releases swamping us with TV spots, teasers-for-teasers-for-trailers, Star Wars: The Force Awakens has largely relied on a restrained series of promotional events and a couple of main trailers. Now here comes the third full batch of footage, and if the trend keeps up, this could be the final trailer. You’ve waited this long, so enjoy...

Yes, as foretold by Sunday’s poster – which is still generating plenty of comment for its specific lack of one Luke Skywalker – the new promo arrives with plenty of new footage.

Though this is partly the trailer intended for more general audiences (originally broadcast during Monday Night Football across the pond), there’s plenty for dedicated Wars fans to enjoy, and still doesn't exactly spell out the plot. Anchored by the idea that the adventures of Luke, Leia, Han and the rest are now treated almost more as stories than reality (it is a big galaxy far, far away, after all), the past comes rushing back with a vengeance thanks to the machinations of Imperial followers (fanatics?) The First Order. “I will finish,” says Kylo Ren menacingly while staring at Darth Vader’s twisted, scorched helmet, “What you started...” Cue lots of shots of X-Wings, TIE Fighters, storm troopers and more, all that you could wish for from Star Wars.

Star Wars: The Force Awakens, which features the new franchise faces Ridley, John Boyega, Domhnall Gleeson, Andy Serkis, Gwendoline Christie and Adam Driver joining the veteran likes of Carrie Fisher, Mark Hamill, Harrison Ford, Peter Mayhew and Anthony Daniels, will arrive in the UK on December 17, ahead of its December 18 launch in the US. For everything we know about the film so far, point your targeting computer this a-way.

The recently-teased redesign of the Google Play Store sure looks nice, and now it's starting to arrive on devices. The new design will immediately catch your eye as it's a pretty sizable departure from the last design, with prominent tabs in the main interface for "Apps & Games" and then "Entertainment."

Entertainment of course has sub-sections for Movies & TV, Music, Books and Newsstand, while the Apps & Games tab has separate sections for top charts, games, categories, family and editors' choice. The new pill-shaped buttons are a theme throughout the new app, used in place of the scrolling tabs in use before.

Justin Timberlake is one adoring husband.

During his induction into the Memphis Music Hall of Fame on Saturday, the “Cry Me a River” crooner gushed about his wife of three years, Jessica Biel.

“First I want to thank my beautiful, loving and incredibly understanding-of-her-husband’s-shortcomings wife, Jessica,” Timberlake, 34, said during his tearful speech. “She is a rock and she is tough as nails. Baby, I love you more than I could put into words and more than any song I could ever write.”

Introduced by best pal Jimmy Fallon, Timberlake took to the stage for a solid 20 minutes, thanking fellow artists who have stood before him.

“This is the f—–g coolest thing that has ever happened to me,” the Grammy winner expressed. “I wanna thank all the great artists in this hall. I’m truly honored to merely stand on the shoulders of all these legends I grew up listening to, and I grew up admiring, to say that I stand alongside them now.”

The Memphis native also noted how excited he was to celebrate his third wedding anniversary with Biel, 33.

“We actually just celebrated our third anniversary, which in Hollywood years that’s like a 15-year anniversary,” Timberlake joked.

Ticket presales for the movie crashed Fandango’s website, according to Deadline Hollywood. The lucky few who managed to get them before the Internet caved in will be able to see the movie as early as December 17.

WASHINGTON — The comedic genius of Eddie Murphy was saluted Sunday by a virtual parade of entertainers during the Kennedy Center's 18th annual Mark Twain Prize.

Murphy opened his first stand-up set in 28 years with an impression of Bill Cosby, whom he refused to play on "Saturday Night Live's" 40th anniversary show.

While accepting the honor, Murphy riffed on the award, which Cosby won in 2009.

"Bill has one of these," Murphy said, looking at the miniature bust of Twain.

"Did you all make Bill give his back?" he asked, referring to alleged efforts by some to have Cosby return his trophy. "You know you f--ed up when they want you to give your trophies back."

Lapsing into a deft Cosby impersonation, he loudly decried such efforts prompted by certain allegations about his character. It brought down the house.

"I would like to talk to some of the people who feel like I should give back some of my f--ing trophies," Murphy said in his best Cosby voice.

"You may have heard recently that I allegedly put the pill in the people's stomach," Murphy said while impersonating Cosby. "Who is Hannibal Buress? First of all, Hannibal is a caveman's name. ... If I ever see or meet this Hannibal Buress in person I am going to try to kill this man!"

Fellow comedian Buress put the Cosby allegations back in the spotlight during a stand-up set in 2014.

After accepting the award, from Kennedy Center Chairman David Rubinstein, Murphy said he was honored to stand alongside past recipients such as Richard Pryor, George Carlin, Carl Reiner and Lily Tomlin. Yet he regretted that there is no money attached to the honor. "I call it the Twain sur-prize," he said.

Murphy's versatility in standup, sketch and film genres drew hearty praise mixed with light-hearted barbs from former "Saturday Night Live" chums and others. The event will air Nov. 23 on PBS stations.

Participants included comedian Tracy Morgan, who followed his previous evening's "SNL" hosting duties by branding Murphy as his "comedic hero."

"It's obvious why the producers wanted me on this show — I have a huge following on PBS," quipped Morgan.

Sounding a serious note, Morgan revealed that he received a phone call from Murphy the night he came out of his coma, and that Murphy made him laugh. "I love you," he said to his idol seated in a box above the center's Concert Hall.

Following the traditional format, the show included a variety of the honoree's vintage TV and film clips. They included the 1988 film "Coming Into America," presented by the film's co-star Arsenio Hall, who reminisced about how the two comics initially pitched the film to dubious execs at Paramount, revising their plan after an initial rejection.

Other clips included the 19 year-old Murphy's first appearance on "The Tonight Show"; "SNL" bits as Buckwheat and the kidvid spoof "Mr. Robinson"; films "Shrek" and "The Nutty Professor"; and, of course, a raunchy standup performance in Murphy's famous red suit.

"Daily Show" host Trevor Noah spoke about his arrival to the U.S. from his native South Africa. He said watching Murphy's genius opened his eyes to his own potential in comedy in the U.S. "I am part of your legacy, Eddie," he said.

Former "SNL" cast members Kevin Nealon, Joe Piscopo and Jay Pharaoh also joined the kudo clip parade. Nealon riffed on the center's insistence that the Twain honor be called a prize, not an award. "An award is something you earn. A prize is something you win. I sure hope Eddie wins tonight," he said.

Comedian Chris Rock called Murphy an inspiration, but confessed that after praising him last year for an "SNL" anniversary, he has grown tired of the obligation. "The next time I get on a plane to honor him, there had better be a coffin in the room," he said.

Others on hand included Dave Chappelle, Kathy Griffin, George Lopez and singer Sam Moore.

Should Annie be scared? Despite the fact that her man 2Face Idibia is now off the market for Nigerian girls, some crazy ladies still want him to enter the place.
Anyway, at a recent show in Sapele, while 2Baba was performing, a girl jumped unto the stage, pulled 2face Idibia from behind, took off her clothes and began to strip 2face off his clothes in the full glare of everyone including his wife.

It took the efforts of bouncers to remedy the situation. See more photos below:
