Apple has launched yet another mobile software update this week, and this time it (hopefully) won't knock out your iPhone's cellular service. Available now, iOS 8.0.2 brings the HealthKit and Reachability fixes that were meant for iOS 8.0.1, while avoiding the cellular network issue that plagued the previous update.
One of iOS 8.0.1's intended features was to minimize data usage during text messages, but the update caused a multitude of iPhone owners to lose their cellular signal entirely after downloading the patch. As a result, Apple took the update down within an hour and provided affected users with a way to downgrade back to iOS 8.0 via iTunes.
