The students @Aba hostel which is very close to the school compound had a protest this morning for not having light for months.
They blocked the federal road which lead to ijan, Fedpolad and Afe Babalola University.
During the protest Afe babalola (the founder of Afe Babalola University was not allowed to pass the road to his school.
We heard he later ordered some mopol to chase the students which the mopols did with gunshots and tear gas.
Some students were injured, some were arrested, some ran to the school premises (FEDPOLAD) for safety.
While the Ebira people living within this hostels could not go back to their houses.
Aba students could not go back to their hostels so they won't be arrested.
The protest was a peaceful one untill the mopols turned it to war.
