President Buhari today showered kind words on controversial cleric, Fr. Ejike Mbaka, spiritual director of the Adoration Ministry Enugu who celebrated 20 years of priesthood yesterday July 29th. In a statement signed by presidential media aide, Shehu Garba, President Buhari described the cleric as a man who dares to speak the truth to anyone in power.

“Mbaka is a great priest who is not afraid to speak truth, even at the cost of his own life or being hated by those in power. He rose to the occasion to add his voice in support of good governance and identify with ordinary Nigerians in the face of despair and uncertain future. Though honest opinions attract hostility from leaders detached from reality, history would be kind to Father Mbaka for courageously speaking truth to power, even at great risks.” he said

One month after announcing his split from Jennifer Garner, sources reveal in the new issue of Us Weekly that Ben Affleck has a new flame: the ex-nanny to his three kids!

Nearly one month after announcing the end of his 10-year marriage toJennifer Garner, Ben Affleck has begun to move on. And the two-time Oscar winner, 42, didn’t have to look far to find a new romance. In the new issue of Us Weekly, multiple sources reveal Affleck has been dating 28-year-old California native Christine Ouzounian, a woman he and Garner hired as a nanny for their three kids this spring. The issue also features exclusive photos of the two.

When Ouzounian — an employee at a high-end Beverly Hills nanny agency — first started caring for Violet, 9, Seraphina, 6, and Samuel, 3, Affleck and Garner, 43, were in the midst of a secret 10-month trial separation. The Arizona State University communications grad soon developed an attraction to the Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice star.

“They would hang out without the kids,” explains an Ouzounian pal. “And they were very flirty.”

When Garner discovered there was something going on between her estranged husband and Ouzounian, she let the babysitter go. But the ex-sorority girl wasn't cut from Affleck’s life.

The pair spent time together at Affleck’s new L.A.-area rental on July 17 and, says the Ouzounian pal, were in constant contact over text and email. “She says Ben really, really likes her,” says the friend. “She’s saying this is true love.” (A rep for Affleck tells Us “all allegations of a romantic relationship are baseless and untrue.” Ouzounian couldn’t be reached for comment.)

Jimmy Kimmel got emotional on his late-night show on Tuesday, July 28, while discussing the death of Cecil the Lion who was reportedly killed by dentist Walter Palmer.Credit: ABC

No jokes here. An emotional Jimmy Kimmel got choked up during his monologue on his late-night show on Tuesday, July 28, while discussing the death of Cecil the Lion, who was reportedly killed by dentist Walter Palmer earlier this month.

Kimmel expressed disgust with Palmer, who is accused of luring the famous lion out of a national park in Zimbabwe on July 6, shooting him with a crossbow, and tracking him on a 40-hour hunt. After finding Cecil, the American dentist reportedly killed, beheaded, and skinned the 13-year-old lion, who became famous as part of an Oxford University research project and is a star at Hwange National Park.

"Is it that difficult for you to get an erection?" Kimmel demanded in his monologue. "That you need to kill things that are stronger than you?"

Clearly outraged, Kimmel said Palmer taking Viagra would "save himself from being the most hated man in America, who never advertised Jell-O pudding." His reference to Jell-O pudding, of course, was a dig at Bill Cosby, who is currently accused of sexually assaulting more than 35 women.

The final moments of Kimmel's monologue were the most emotional and reflective as the comic requested that fans of Cecil make donations to Oxford's Wildlife Conservation Research Unit, which studied the famed feline. As he made the request, Kimmel teared up and noted to his audience that he wanted this narrative to become a "positive" one.

Kimmel isn't the only celebrity to speak out against Palmer. Animal lover Ricky Gervais, actress Debra Messing, Charmed alum Alyssa Milano, supermodel Christie Brinkley, and more stars have rallied in memory of Cecil the Lion.

Meanwhile, Palmer also addressed the killing in a statement on Tuesday.

"In early July, I was in Zimbabwe on a bow hunting trip for big game. I hired several professional guides and they secured all proper permits. To my knowledge, everything about this trip was legal and properly handled and conducted,” he told local Minneapolis outlet KARE11. “I had no idea that the lion I took was a known, local favorite, was collared and part of a study until the end of the hunt. I relied on the expertise of my local professional guides to ensure a legal hunt. I have not been contacted by authorities in Zimbabwe or in the U.S. about this situation, but will assist them in any inquiries they may have. Again, I deeply regret that my pursuit of an activity I love and practice responsibly and legally resulted in the taking of this lion."

Justin Bieber opened up about his new single "What Do You Mean."Credit: Denise Truscello/WireImage

Just trying to clarify! On Wednesday, July 29, Justin Bieber revealed the title and meaning behind his upcoming single during a visit to On Air With Ryan Seacrest.

The pop music bad boy, 21, noted that his new single, “What Do You Mean,” would be released on Aug. 28, ahead of his first album in three years.

When pressed by Seacrest to explain the song’s meaning, Selena Gomez’s ex replied, “Girls are often just flip floppy. They say something and then they mean something else. I mean, I don’t really know. That’s why I’m asking, ‘What do you mean?’”

In addition to explaining his thoughts about the opposite sex, the Biebs also admitted he struggled with his own insecurities.

“I get in my head a lot, and I get kinda depressed because I want it to work so badly,” he told Seacrest. “I want people to love it. I want to inspire people. Sometimes I feel, ‘Is it good enough? Is this the direction I want to go?’”

As for the Grammy nominee’s upcoming album, Bieber describes it as “really uplifting, clear, pop-y but cool,” noting, “I’m very excited. It’s stressful, but I’m ready.”

Cultural divide? It was the tense interview watched around the globe, and on Wednesday, July 29, Paper Towns star Cara Delevingne decided to share her side of the story after the anchors of Good Morning Sacramento called her out on the air.

“Some people just don't understand sarcasm or the British sense of humour,” the English supermodel and actress tweeted after her televised interview went viral.

The awkward exchange took place between Delevingne and anchors Kenneth Rudulph, Marianne McClary, and Mark Allen on Tuesday. After the reporters mispronounced her name as “Clara” and asked Delevingne if she’d bothered to read John Green’s novel, Paper Towns — the book on which her movie is based — the Brit appeared slightly annoyed.

“Uh, no. I never read the book or the script,” she replied sarcastically. “I kind of winged it. No, of course, [I did.] John Green is an incredible author, so really if you haven't read his books, you should.”

The anchors went on to call Delevingne out, saying she looked “exhausted” and “irritated,” which she denied. After she exited the interview, the table of reporters continued to publicly bash her.

Rudulph later tweeted, “Yeah, I could have asked a better question. That was my bad. LOL.” His colleague McClary, however, was not willing to back down, and posted another actor’s interview with the caption, ”Check out how a true class act deals with his jillionth interview: Sir Ian McKellan (sic)!”

Look, Microsoft. Just because I am Facebook friends with someone, doesn’t mean I want to share my wifi passwords with them.

Unfortunately, that’s exactly what happens by default in Windows 10. Anyone who I’m Outlook.com contacts with (spammers), Skype friends with (webcam strippers), or Facebook friends with (high school buddies turned webcam strippers) can connect to wifi networks that I have the password for.

It’s part of a system called Wi-Fi Sense, which has been lurking in Windows Phone for a while now. It sends wifi passwords (encrypted; they never see the plaintext password) to your contacts, who can therefore connect to any wifi network that you have the password to. It’s turned on by default, and I had to dig around in a few levels of settings to disable it.

(There’s also a checkbox when you first connect to a wifi network, giving you the option not to share the network. But since Windows 10 helpfully keeps your saved passwords when you upgrade, all the networks you’ve previously connected to are shared by default. My bad — Win10 shares your saved Wi-Fi passwords with other devices signed into your Microsoft account by default, but not through Wi-Fi Sense.)

I’m not really complaining about the existence of the feature in the first place — I can see how it could be helpful, if you’re a non-data-plan-having tween hopping between various wifi-enabled basements. It’s the fact that Wi-Fi Sense is enabled by default, and most people will never know that it’s there.

It’s also a huge security fuckup waiting to happen. Users might not see the password, but it’s stored on the machine somewhere, and you can bet that an intrepid hacker will get at it.

To disable Wi-Fi sense, head into Wi-Fi—>Network settings—>Manage Wi-Fi settings, and uncheck basically all the boxes you can see.

This post is part of a week-long experiment with Windows 10 ahead of the official launch on July 29. What do you want to know about Windows 10? Drop us a line.

"You love her, then you gotta get a world tour / Is that a world tour or your girl’s tour?," rapper asks

Drake has fired another salvo in his beef with Meek Mill, unleashing his latest diss track, "Back to Back Freestyle" Paras Griffin/Getty

Drake has fired another salvo in his feud with Meek Mill after that rapper called Drake's "Charged Up" diss track "baby lotion soft." Three days later, Drake has responded again with "Back to Back Freestyle," and there's nothing soft or vague about this diss track as the Toronto rapper lays into Meek Mill.

The cruelest barbs in "Back to Back Freestyle" come when Drake attempts to emasculate Meek Mill for serving as opening act for his girlfriend Nicki Minaj's Pinkprint Tour. "You love her then you gotta give the world to her / Is that a world tour or your girl's tour?/ I know that you gotta be a thug for her / This ain’t what she meant when she told you to open up more," Drake says. (Incidentally, Meek Mill showed up 90 minutes late and was promptly booed when the Pinkprint Tour hit Drake's native Toronto Tuesday night.)

Drake then takes aim at Meek Mill's decision to beef through social media. "Trigger fingers turn to Twitter fingers," Drake raps. "You're getting bodied by a singing nigga." Drake then warns all his "boss bitches" – but likely Minaj especially – "make sure you hit him with a pre-nup."

The feud between Drake and Meek Mill stems from Mill's accusations that Drake employed a ghostwriter for his guest verse on "R.I.C.O.," a track off Meek Mill's new album Dreams Worth More Than Money. An Atlanta rapper named Quentin Miller was then identified as Drake's ghostwriter, though Miller and Drake's producer Noah "40" Shebib denied the ghostwriting allegations.

"When I look back, I might be mad that I gave this attention / But it's weighing heavy on my conscience / And fuck, you left me with no options," Drake says on the new track. "I'm not sure what it was that made y'all mad / But I guess this is what I gotta do to make y'all rap."

Meek Mill previously shared his own Drake "diss track" titled "Beautiful Nightmare" which just featured 15 seconds of moaning.

Ready to move on up to Windows 10? Here are all the steps you need for success.

James Martin/CNET

Windows 10 is finally here and it's the best version of the operating system we've seen in a while. Even better, it's a free update if you already have Windows 7 or newer.

The new operating system is available as an update starting July 29 and we recommend you upgrade. If you're ready to bring your Windows 8 or 7 machine up to the latest version of Microsoft's OS, there are few things you'll have to do to make the upgrade as painless as possible. I've outlined the key steps to follow below.

Step 1: Make sure your computer is eligible for Windows 10

Windows 10 is free for anyone running the latest version of Windows 7, Windows 8 and Windows 8.1 on their laptop, desktop or tablet computer.
You can figure out which version your computer by heading to Microsoft's website.
You must be an administrator on your computer, meaning that you own the computer and set it up yourself. It's very likely that you will not be able to update work computers that are managed by an IT department on your own.

Step 2: Back up your computer

To protect all of the files you have on your computer, I highly recommended that you back up your computer, just in case something goes wrong during the upgrade process. For a detailed process on how to do this, check out CNET's guide to preparing your PC for Windows 10.

Step 3: Update your current Windows version

You will need to install all of the updates for the current version of Windows you have on your machine. If you've set up automatic updates, you should be all set, but double-check first.
On Windows 7, go to Start, Control Panel, System and Security and Windows Update.
On Windows 8 and 8.1, go to Start, PC Settings, Update and recovery, and Windows Update.
On all versions of Windows, your computer will you if there are any available updates and walk you through the process of downloading and installing them.
You may need to check for and install updates several times to finish this process.

Step 4: Wait for the Windows 10 prompt

Once your computer has the latest updates, a Windows icon will pop up in the taskbar on your desktop, letting you know you can reserve Windows 10. Follow the directions on the screen to let Microsoft know that you would like the Windows 10 update. You may enter your email address to confirm the update, but it is not necessary.

When you're finished with the reservation process, all you can do is sit back and wait for Microsoft to automatically send Windows 10 to your computer, a process that can take several days or weeks. When it's time to install the update, you will get a notification on your computer.

Advanced users only: Get Windows 10 directly from Microsoft

If you've finished all the above steps and do not want to wait another minute to get Windows 10, there is a way to speed things up. Check out CNET's guide to manually downloading and installing Windows 10 to jump the line and get started now. However, use this process at your own risk, because it can be more complicated than simply waiting for the update to arrive.

Edeh's Ark

A new examination hall constructed at the Madonna University, Elele, Rivers state, has been touted as the largest and longest in Nigeria.

The hall was named 'Edeh's Ark', for having the shape of an allusion to the Biblical Noah's ark and the name of the institution’s Chancellor, Rev. Emmanuel Matthew Paul Edeh.

The hall is so long that it is almost impossible to see the back end from the front end.
Nigeria's longest exam hall

The hall was built by the school management with the hope to tackle examination malpractice with the record breaking hall.

"The idea is that several exams will hold at the same time,"

"If you are to write an exam in this hall, OYO is your case as students from different levels are made to sit side-by-side.

It’s easy to focus on academics and college transcripts when children become tweens and teens, but retaining the agency and creativity inherent in play is crucial for them, too. But what is the high school equivalent for the kind of inquisitive learning that happens when little kids play in the sandbox, finger-paint, build with blocks or play make-believe?

“When your 4-year-old is dipping his hand in the rice table, he’s learning really important things about tactile touch,” said Denise Pope, senior lecturer at Stanford’s Graduate School of Education and co-founder of Challenge Success. “Older kids need those same tactile, hands-on experiences to learn as well.”

Teenagers need creative outlets, just like elementary school children. Those experiences helps open their brains in different ways, gets them excited about learning and allows them to have fun. Playful learning can in turn lead to deeper engagement with school, better retention of learning and a stronger motivation to persist all the way through school.

There are several ways to encourage teenagers to learn playfully.

Free Choice Time: Student-Directed Learning

During free-choice time in preschool, kids are encouraged to choose their own activity: dressing-up corner, painting at an easel or even just reading a book. Older kids also like having choice built into their learning experience.

“In the first book I wrote, ‘Doing School,’ there was a kid I was shadowing and she wanted to write a novel, and her teacher was like, ‘Well, that’s great, but I can’t give you credit, it can’t count for a grade or anything,’ ” Pope said. “She was really discouraged.”

Allowing that student to write a novel for credit would have been a chance to encourage her to connect to her classes, Pope said. It’s much easier for students to learn deeply when they see the tasks as meaningful and the content as valuable to their future lives.

Sandra Russ, professor of psychology at Case Western Reserve University, has researched the role of pretend play in child development. She agrees choice is important for teenagers.

“It’s important that they’re doing it for its own sake. They’re not doing it for a reward, they’re doing it because they love it. Especially for teenagers, who are under a lot of stress,” Russ said.

Blocks and Legos: Maker Spaces and Fab Labs

Teenagers love the opportunity to invent, design and build things. At the makerspaces and “fab labs” that some high schools now have, students make jewelry, build guitars out of cigar boxes, design robots or lanterns, even sew their own clothes. A project that starts in physics class might end up in the fab lab, where students can actually see the theories applied in life.

Makerspaces give teenagers a place to learn through exploration and imagination, while working collaboratively — many of the same principles behind preschool play.

Though makerspaces often use technology, they don’t have to. Many successful spaces are stocked with scraps of wood, soda bottles, soldering irons, PVC pipe and other easy-to-find supplies.

“You’re learning about Michelangelo, and to understand the context of his innovations, you may actually make one the way he made it, using wood and glue and old-fashioned tools like he used,” Pope said.

And when technology does make an appearance in a makerspace, it’s still important to use it creatively.

“If they’re taught to use technology as a medium, just like someone would use a paintbrush, it’s different than if they’re using technology as a means to the end,” says Mariah Bruehl of Playful Learning. “Give them technology, give them hammers, give them wood, give them real problems to solve, with lots of different tools to meet that challenge.”

Playground: Pickup Sports and Jam Sessions

Often, play for older kids takes the form of games, either video or computer games or traditional sports. But these kinds of games are often competitive and don’t always foster creativity the way free play does.

Encouraging teens to play more informal games, like pickup sports, or to play music with each other just for fun can be ways to let them play without emphasizing competition.

“Extracurricular has become much more focused on winning or performing professionally,” Pope said. “There is something to be learned from being in a professional production or a fully competitive orchestra. But there’s also something to be learned from putting together a garage band and jamming with your friends, or doing improv for fun.”

Finger-Painting: Arts Integration

“Adolescent imagination is really different than kid imagination,” says psychology professor Sandra Russ. “What they really need are creative outlets, which is really what pretend play is for children.”

Some teachers find that integrating the arts — like fiction writing, dance, drama, graphic design, music, drawing, painting or ceramics — into all subjects helps kids learn. Arts integration is more often done in elementary schools, but high school teachers can do it, too.

“Teenagers need to find their talents and their interests,” Russ said. “They need to see what they like, what they’re good at. They need to see where their talents and enjoyment go together, so they need to try different things.”

Make-Believe: Problem-Based Learning

Little kids use imaginary play to pretend to be grown-ups and prepare for life. In middle and high school, educators can give students real-world experiences and problems, and allow them to work alongside real-world experts.

“Go beyond the walls of the school. Make-believe is them wanting to be engaged in the real world. That’s where the magic happens for them,” Playful Learning’s Bruehl said.

At Quest to Learn middle and upper schools in New York City, students solve real-world problems, said Arana Shapiro, former co-director of the school and current director of school design at theInstitute of Play. In one unit, students are challenged to come up with the design of their own restaurant, complete with budget, menu and brand. In another, students come into class and get news that their teacher has been kidnapped, and they have to collect fingerprints and look for clues. High school students are asked to come up with solutions for big problems like global warming.

When putting real-world play into the classroom, students are more motivated when the projects are expansive, big ideas. The most successful teachers first think critically about the big ideas they want students to walk away with, and then find where those big ideas live in the real world, Shapiro said.

“If you can figure that out, it’s easier to create situations and problems for kids to grapple with,” said Shapiro. “When you start with content, and then you think about play, you often think about a game like ‘Jeopardy’ and the facts that kids need to know. If you can really dig deeper into the understandings you want kids to have five or 10 years down the road, those are almost always real situations.”

Rice Tables and Sandboxes: Science Through Inquiry

Little kids learn science best when they’re using their hands and bodies and exploring for themselves. That’s the idea behind inquiry-based science education at all ages. The Exploratorium’s Institute of Inquiry defines the methodology this way: “asking questions, making discoveries, and testing those discoveries in the search for new understanding.”

In other words, students should be following the same processes real scientists use.

“Some of the best scientists we know will say it’s much more about creativity and innovation than understanding the basics of science. You have to know the basics, but you also have to have that creative bar to design an exciting experiment,” Pope said.

When she's not busy shading the hell out of Taylor Swift.

Perry's fragrance promo. Photo: @KatyPerry

When she's not busy tossing enormous shade at Taylor Swift over Twitter, Katy Perry is — this week, at least — using the social platform to sell her latest fragrance, Katy Perry's Mad Potion. The pop star has created a new handle, @KatyPerryPopUp, through which fans can buy the perfume directly off of Twitter. The fragrance, Perry's fourth to date, has notes of sweet white peony and bad blood. (More like bad joke, Eliza!)

As you'll recall, Twitter started test-driving its "buy" button in September 2014, with Burberry coming on board as one of the first brands to begin using it. Eschewing its big ticket items, the British fashion house started selling its spring nail polish range on Twitter right as models hit the runway at London Fashion Week. Perry's fragrance has a similarly approachable price of $29.99, which makes sense given that buying on Twitter is a pretty new thing for most people.

With her massive fan following of 72.9 million, we wouldn't be surprised if Perry manages to pull some decent sales numbers from this stunt. (For context and not as any sort of endorsement, Taylor Swift has 60.9 million followers, while Nicki Minaj has 19.8 million.) That certainly wouldn't be bad news for Twitter, which is still trying to prove its money-making abilities to shareholders.
