Lagos State is the main economic and industrial center which is located on the South-West side of Nigeria. This opens many opportunities for trade and especially great for real estate to grow. With a population of 21 million, making this state the largest in Africa as well as the most populous in Nigeria. On the East side of Victoria Island inLekki, prices are not as high yet however they are rising because many real estates are located on or near the beach.

Compared to other part in West Africa, Lagos state has the most wide-ranging transportation network, starting fromtrain, ferry, as well as good highways and bridges. Thus, this network connects all areas throughout the city as well as connection to its sister cities. In the terms of air transportation, Murtala Muhammed International Airportwhich is located in the North part of the city is one of the largest airports in Africa which serves as a gateway to Nigeria.
