Minecraft Whiz Recreates Destiny's Tower Hub

Bungie's sun-kissed hub-world commemorated with blocky replica.




The hype for Destiny appears to have gotten to this Minecraft maestro's head.

To pass the time during the wait until Destiny's release date (September 9 today  if you haven't already heard), a creative sort by the name Quincy Van Hilst has constructed the game's entire Tower hub world in Minecraft blocks.

Though such an endeavor deserves merit on dedication alone, Van Hilst's creation is impressively faithful to Bungie's blueprint. Bonus points for the huge Traveler orb suspended in the distant sky.

If you want to try something similar yourself, Van Hilst built his Destiny homage using the Halo skin pack on the Xbox 360 version of Minecraft.
