Khloe Kardashian and rapper French Montana are reportedly on the rocks.Khloe Kardashian needs some breathing room.
The 30-year-old reality star is reportedly taking some space from rapper beau French Montana, according to Us Weekly.
"They are on a break," a source told this week's issue of the mag. "The relationship got too heavy and Khloe needed to take a step back."
"She just wants time apart from him," the insider continued.
The two's whirlwind romance began shortly after Kardashian's highly publicized split from her basketball player husband of four years, Lamar Odom, in late December.
A second source noted to Us that Montana was too "needy" and "became so dependent" on the "Keeping Up with the Kardashians" starlet.
Montana admitted to taking advantage of their relationship to boost his career during an August Interview with Billboard magazine.
"I want to capitalize on it," the South Bronx-raised rapper told the mag.
"I'll get a fan base from everywhere. I just hope I'll be able to connect with everything that's going on."
Kardashian made it clear to her fans after the fact that she was not bothered by his comments.
"It's amusing to me that Y'all think I don't see it," she tweeted that weekend. "I was the first one to see it. I just don't care."
