Selena Gomez: Dissing Justin Bieber on Instagram?
Selena Gomez is once again expressing her feelings on Instagram.
This time, however, the singer is taking a very strong and empowering stance.
A few days ago, Gomez appeared to meltdown via the social media service, posting mysterious landscape photos and quoting followers her told her not to be said.
Yesterday, though, Selena sounded like a young woman who has seen the light. One message emphasized the importance of not comparing yourself to others; while another warned against expecting too much from others.
Hmmm... to whom might these quotes be directed?
Earlier this week, Justin Bieber ran his own photo online.
It depicted an intimate shot of himself and Yovanna Ventura, a model with whom Bieber was romantically linked in the spring.
Aside from the mere presence of this picture being an affront to Gomez, the way in which Bieber and Ventura are posing reminds many of a 2013 image snapped of Justin and Selena, making it even more insulting to the female singer.
It's clear things are no longer peachy and keen for Jelena. Far from it, in fact.
But let's hope Selena sticks to the Instagram words she publicized above and comes to the realization many others have in recent weeks: She can do A LOT better than Justin Bieber!
