Burna Boy Parts Ways With Aristocrat Records

News making the rounds have it that Burna Boy has parted ways with the record label that 

brought him into limelight, Aristokrat Records. According to the story on
the site, Burna is no longer with AR. The record label’s logo is not in his new video ‘Don 

Gorgon’. Also Aristokrat Records’ in-house producer Leriq didn’t produce the song. Burna 

Boy’s debut L.IF.E was entirely produced by Leriq. As a matter of fact, all artistes on the label 

have had their EPs entirely produced by Leriq.

Aristokrat Records has removed everything about Burna on their social media accounts. Burna 

Boy has done likewise. we have been aware of the friction between the top brass of Aristokrat 

and Burna Boy stemming from his mum’s involvement in his career, and his unproductive 

behaviour  influenced by certain narcotics.

On Friday, July 11, Burna Boy fired his mum as his manager on Twitter. Under Aristokrat 

Records, the 23 year old Burna Boy released his debut albumLeaving an Impact For Eternity 

(L.I.F.E) in 2013 to rave reviews.
