Sharon Stone has posed nude for American fashion magazine Harpers Bazaar for a photo spread to accompany an interview in which she talks openly about her struggle to rebuild her career after suffering a massive aneurism in 2001.

Stone, who was nominated for a best supporting actress Oscar for Martin Scorsese's Casino in 1996, has never been shy about revealing her physical attributes.

In 1990, she did a nude photo shoot for Playboy in a bid to jumpstart a career that had stalled in the years since she debuted with a brief cameo in Woody Allen's 1980 comedy Stardust Memories. In 1992's Basic Instinct, the film that made her for a period one of Hollywood's top stars, she fleetingly and famously uncrossed her legs to reveal that her character, Catherine Tramell, did not have any underwear beneath the striking white dress she wore to her interview with Michael Douglas's police detective.

In the role that made her a star, as Catherine Tramell inBasic Instinct.

It was a bold gesture that cemented her in the public mind, but the new shoot is in some respects far braver.

Stone is now 57. "I'm aware that my ass looks like a bag of flapjacks," she told the magazine. "But I'm not trying to be the best-looking broad in the world.

"At a certain point you start asking yourself, 'What really is sexy?' It's not just the elevation of your boobs. It's being present and having fun and liking yourself enough to like the person that's with you. If I believed that sexy was trying to be who I was when I did Basic Instinct, then we'd all be having a hard day today."

Madeline Stuart models for EverMaya handbags

Such an inspiration! Australian model Madeline Stuart, who was born with Down syndrome, announced she will walk in New York Fashion Week for American label FTL Moda, in association with the Christopher Reeve Foundation, on Sept. 13.

Sharing a pic from the fashion brand on her Instagram on Aug. 11, she wrote, "Guess who is modeling in NY for NY fashion week xx."

But that's not all! The Brisbane native, 18, has had such a positive impact since she was discovered in May (and has collected nearly 450,000 fans on Facebook and 60,000 followers on Instagram) that she will also front two new campaigns. Stuart is the face of accessories brand EverMaya, which has also introduced a line of handbags named after her (five percent of the sales will go to the National Down's Syndrome Society). Activewear line Manifesta has also signed a contract with Stuart.

Despite having Down sndrome and other health problems (including three holes in her heart and a loose valve, all of which she manages with heart medication), Stuart remains completely positive and driven toward her goal. "She's done so well because this isn't about us," Stuart's mother, Rosanna Stuart, told Cosmopolitan. "It's about fighting the fight for all the people out there that are a bit different. She can walk into a room and not judge anyone. I wish I could be more like my daughter."

And the model, who went viral earlier this year after her activewear and swimsuit photos were posted on Facebook, lost nearly 50 pounds by hitting the gym and the pool before international fashion requests came trickling in. "She's worked hard for it," her mother told the Daily Mail in July. "People with Down syndrome can do anything. I think it's time people realized that people with Down syndrome can be sexy and beautiful. We will only continue doing this as long as Maddy is happy doing this. It's only what makes Maddy happy that's important."

Stuart will be the second model with the condition to take to the fashion week catwalk, following in the footsteps of American Horror Story actress, Jamie Brewer, who strutted in New York Fashion Week for Carrie Hammer in February.

Thailand's Prime Minister Prayuth Chan-ocha has said the bombing of a shrine in the capital, Bangkok, on Monday was the "worst-ever attack" on the country.

The attack killed at least 20 people, including at least eight foreigners.

Mr Prayuth said the perpetrators had not been identified, but police have released images of one suspect seen on security footage at the shrine.

In a separate attack in Bangkok, an explosive device was thrown from a pier but caused no injuries on Tuesday.

The device - possibly a grenade - appears to have been thrown at the busy Sathorn pier in Bangkok but landed in water where it exploded harmlessly.

"If it did not fall in the water then it certainly would have caused injuries," the district's deputy police chief Col Natakit Siriwongtawan told Reuters news agency.

Monday's bomb targeted the Erawan Hindu shrine, a major tourist attraction.

It was detonated at about 19:00 local time (12:00 GMT) on Monday when the shrine, and the nearby Ratchaprasong junction, were crowded.

Scores of people were wounded.

Live coverage of Bangkok aftermath

"This is the worst incident that has ever happened in Thailand," Mr Prayuth said.

"There have been minor bombs or just noise, but this time they aim for innocent lives. They want to destroy our economy, our tourism."

Authorities are now examining video footage taken from several CCTV cameras around the shrine for clues, says the BBC's Jonathan Head in Bangkok.

They have released images of one young man who appears to walk into the shrine wearing a black backpack, but is then seen walking without it.

Members of the public are also handing in their own video coverage.

The bomb was clearly placed to cause maximum casualties, our correspondent says, and there is a lingering sense of shock in Thailand, which until now had been spared the kinds of terrorist incidents experienced by some of its neighbours.

Most victims were Thai, but at least eight were foreign - mostly from elsewhere in Asia.

In currency trading, the Thai baht fell to its lowest level in six years.

Jonathan Head BBC News, Bangkok: "Who is behind this attack?"

Bangkok is now sitting back and wondering who could possibly have carried out this act and what their motives could have been.

There is no shortage of potential suspects - people might wonder if it was the Muslim insurgency fighting for an independent state in the deep south. Lots of bombs go off there but, the insurgents have never perpetrated an attack outside their own area, so this would be an entire change in tactics.

People also look at the recent political violence and wonder if factions who lost out might have been involved.

It will be some time before the government gives some idea of what we should be looking for.

National police chief Somyot Poompummuang earlier described the device as a pipe bomb - an improvised device where explosive material is put in a sealed cavity to maximise the explosive impact.

He said the 3kg bomb had been placed inside the shrine.

"Whoever planted this bomb is cruel and aimed to kill. Planting a bomb there means they want to see a lot of people dead," he said.

Marko Cunningham, a New Zealand paramedic working with a Bangkok ambulance service, said the scene was "like a meat market".

"There were bodies everywhere. Some were shredded. It was horrific," he told the Reuters news agency.

The shrine is dedicated to the Hindu god Brahma, but is also visited by thousands of Buddhists each day.

It sits between a five-star hotel and a popular shopping centre on the Ratchaprasong intersection, which has been the centre of political demonstrations in recent years.

Bangkok has seen a decade of sometimes violent rivalry between political factions.

The military took over the country in May last year, removing an elected government following months of unrest. The capital has been relatively calm since then.

Earlier this week we saw Zuk, Lenovo's online-only brand, launching its first smartphone in China named the Zuk Z1. The firm has also showcased a smartphone prototype, the highlight of which is a transparent display.

In a series of images posted on Weibo from the Z1 launch event on Tuesday, the prototype smartphone is seen featuring a near bezel-less frame on the transparent glass-like display. The prototype is said to perform almost all functions of a traditional smartphone such as displaying images, making phone calls, play music, and more, and features an Android-like interface.

While there is no information revealed about the transparent display of the Zuk smartphone prototype, the image showing a picture of a girl on the display does hint towards a high pixel density. Needless to say, since this is a prototype smartphone, we would not be seeing it hitting the markets just yet, not at least until next year. In addition, the tech required to create transparent displays is not yet widely available. The prototype reveal was first reported by Gizmo China.

Lenovo's Zuk brand, by teasing a prototype smartphone with a transparent display, has come in direct competition with the likes of Samsung and LG, both of which have already showcased prototypes onfoldable Youm displays, transparent displays, and bezel-less displays in the past.

Zuk earlier this week launched its first smartphone named Z1 in China, priced at CNY 1,799 (approximately Rs. 18,250). Lenovo's new online-only brand is aimed at countering the rise of Xiaomi in China, which too has followed a low-cost online-only model. While Lenovo so far has not detailed any plans to launch its online-only smartphone brand outside China, it is expected the company may bring the brand to other markets. Zuk Z1 is one of the few smartphones that feature USB Type-C port, a large 4100mAh battery, fingerprint sensor, and a 13-megapixel rear camera with Sony sensor (IMX214) and optical image stabilization (OIS), a feature that's found in select high-end smartphones.

Sony has been rumoured to be working on its second-flagship of 2015, believed to be dubbed Xperia Z5, alongside a compact-version of the handset, Xperia Z5 Compact. Now, new details have emerged tipping that the Japanese manufacturer may already be working on a variant of the Xperia Z5, the Xperia Z5+.

A new Sony high-end Xperia smartphone has been leaked in promo image, believed to showcase the Xperia Z5+. Additionally, UA (user-agent) profile company listings tipping details about the Xperia

Z5+ have also been spotted online
.

The leaked promo image claims to show a handset codenamed S70+, expected to be the Xperia Z5+. While the promo image is blurry, the handset in it largely seem to sport design same as the Xperia Z3+or Xperia Z4. Sony's OmniBalance design is clearly visible in the leaked promo image and the handset is seen in Black, Chrome, and Gold colours. The promo image comes courtesy Weibo (China's equivalent of Twitter) and was first picked up by Xperia Blog.

Separately, the UA profiles of the Sony E6833, E6853, E6883 - thought to be Xperia Z5+ variants - were spotted, tipping some details about the yet-to-be-announced handset including a Qualcomm Snapdragon 810 (MSM8944) processor. The listing (via Xperia blog) also shows a screen size entry of 3840x2160 pixel likely indicating the screen resolution of the upcoming handset to be 4K.

Sony recently confirmed its presence at IFA event next month and even claimed that it will announce "many new features."

Statisticians can glean insightful information from Facebook posts, tweets and other online social media communications that may help improve public safety, researchers have said.

Michiko Wolcott and colleagues evaluated social media traffic posted during and the days following typhoon Haiyan striking the Philippines in November 2013 to develop a set of social media analytics for emergency response managers.

"Social media can play a critical role in the dissemination of the information, as well as collection of relevant data during natural disasters," said Wolcott.

"The idea of leveraging social media data such as Twitter is intuitively attractive, given their natural ties to mobile devices with obvious disaster response implications," he explained.

Similarly, bio-statistician Elaine Nsoesie came up with a method for tracking food borne illness and disease outbreaks using social media sites such as Twitter and Yelp to supplement traditional surveillance systems.

Traditional surveillance systems capture only a fraction of the estimated 48 million food borne illness cases in the country each year, primarily because few affected individuals seek medical care or report their condition to the appropriate authorities, Nsoesie said.

"Reports of food borne illness on review sites could serve as early indicators of food borne disease outbreaks. Information gleaned from such novel data streams could aid traditional surveillance systems in near real-time monitoring of food borne related illnesses," Nsoesie added.

The findings were presented recently at the 2015 Joint Statistical Meetings (JSM 2015) in Seattle, US.

Rainbow Six Siege is the latest tactical shooter in the Tom Clancy universe. Some of Ubisoft's attempts to stage a comeback for the series didn't work out too well, as neither Rainbow 6 Vegas nor Rainbox 6 Vegas 2 were very well received on the Playstation 3 and the Xbox 360. With Rainbow 6 Siege though, Ubisoft seems to have finally found the right formula for the series.

The last two Rainbow Six featured a single-player campaign, and Rainbow Six Siege is no different. However, this time around the focus is on multiplayer. Our preview at Gamescom 2015 had us squaring off other game journalists in five on five combat. Much like Team Fortress 2 and Battlefield 4, here too you choose your character class at the start of the match. While we had around 10 classes to choose from, the final game will have 20. Different classes have different powers, such as the ability to wield special weapons such as sledge hammers to breach doors, or electronic jammers to keep your foes at bay.

All of these class types and gizmos come in handy. And at times picking the right class is as important as having great reflexes. Matches in Rainbow Six Siege don't just have you gunning down the opposition (granted that's the most gratifying part of it) so choosing the correct class in relation to the rest of your team makes all the difference on some maps.

Our gameplay session had us defending a base against a team of human controlled attackers. There a brief preparation period that allowed us to set up defences, such as barricading rooms and laying down barbed wire. In the meantime our opposition scanned the environment looking for our location.

When the match started it was a tense, drawn out affair. Aiming and shooting felt precise. Movement was on the slower side, which is expected given the strategic nature of gameplay. If you were expecting a Call of Duty or Battlefield replacement, then think again because Rainbow Six Siege is a completely different beast. Camping (standing behind cover, waiting for your opponents to drop in) isn't a viable strategy either thanks to destructible environments. Provided your aim is true, one shot usually equates with one kill.

All of this culminates in a sense of vulnerability where you're compelled to communicate with your team mates in order to survive. We found ourselves chatting to our fellow squad members more often than not, prior to and during the three rounds we played to check who was using which class (so there would be no overlap), who had what items left (so they could be allocated in the necessary sections of the map), and of course, call in for backup. Towards the end of a frantic assault by our opposition it came in handy, calling in backup and requesting explosives that saved us the match.

While other games provide opportunities and mechanics such as class based systems and an emphasis on team work, the inherent fragility when playing Rainbow Six Siege's multiplayer mode pushed us and our team members to talk to each other. A rare occurrence considering that most multiplayer shooters are either expletive-laden affairs or gigantic chasms of silence punctuated by gun fire.

With a pre-order beta scheduled for September 24 and the game slated to hit on October 13, Rainbow Six Siege is looking to be a surprisingly competent multiplayer shooter. Wether the single-player campaign manages to match up remains to be seen, but if you're the sort looking for something to play with your friends, Ubisoft have conjured up what appears to be a viable option.

Another year, another FIFA game. And while the PC and console versions have been annual staples for many a gamer, Electronic Arts (EA) hasn't forgotten about smartphone and tablet owners. The latest in its attempt at small screen dominance sees EA Sports FIFA hitting Android and iOS devices on September 22. The date coincides with the American release of the game on PC and consoles.

EA Sports FIFA for smartphones and tablets - which will be free to download and play - features console-like graphics, enhanced AI, and all the bells and whistles you've come to expect from the franchise with a yearly release in order to keep things relevant. The mobile version of the game also finally get player goal celebrations, and new control options for smoother gameplay.

But what's most telling is the ability for gamers to exchange players. It's a new feature that lets you get the players you want. Rather than sell or discard unwanted players, you can exchange them for random new ones. The better the player exchanged, the higher chance of getting a better rated one in return.

Also the game's popular Ultimate Team mode has undergone a few important changes, the most crucial of which ensures that you won't have to start over with your Ultimate Team from scratch. With regular updates and events, you can keep your existing players and keep playing.

While all these changes sound good on paper we're curious to see how they're received by the game's rabid fanbase when it hits on September 22.

Should Annie be scared? Despite the fact that her man 2Face Idibia is now off the market for Nigerian girls, some crazy ladies still want him to enter the place.
Anyway, at a recent show in Sapele, while 2Baba was performing, a girl jumped unto the stage, pulled 2face Idibia from behind, took off her clothes and began to strip 2face off his clothes in the full glare of everyone including his wife.

It took the efforts of bouncers to remedy the situation. See more photos below:

Google on Thursday announced that it is finally done rolling out Google Play Services version 7.8. The firm announced that with the new version, the company has added two new APIs for developers - Nearby Messages API and Mobile Vision API. The latter "helps you create apps that make sense of the visual world, using real-time on-device vision technology."

The Mobile Vision API is a mix of two APIs - Face API and Barcode API. The Barcode API, as the name suggests, recognises barcodes even when scanned sideways. The Face API lets developers find and track human faces in images and videos using facial detection or facial recognition.

While this feature is already there in a number of smartphones, the Face API additionally recognises the nose, eyes, and mouth in a human face and helps keep track of their position, both in images and video. The work of the Barcode API here is that it would help the Face API to track human faces in any orientation, including sideways and upside down. Developers can use the APIs in photography, gaming or for hand-free interface.

The Nearby API is something we have previously talked about when Google last month announced a new Bluetooth Low Energy (BLE) beacon-based platform, dubbed Eddystone. The Nearby API or Nearby Messages is a communications and discovery framework for devices in close proximity. Nearby API has been called Nearby Messages, both for Android and iOS to discover nearby devices, including beacons and communicate with them.

Eddystone beacons are low-energy Bluetooth hardware that transmit data to users. Bluetooth is used in this technology as it has a shorter range than Wi-Fi and GPS connectivity. This would result in pin-pointing a more precise location of the user. This tech would help retailers and other firms to send information to the users based on their precise location.

It hasn't even been a month since the release of Windows 10 and Microsoft's newest desktop operating system has been stirring up one privacy related controversy after another. The latest addition is company's rather bold decision to change the license agreement, giving it the power to disable counterfeit games and unathorised hardware on computers running Windows 10.

The Redmond-based software mammoth has updated its European License Agreement ToC (first spotted by PC Authority) to note that it will not tolerate counterfeit games or hardware on any Windows 10-powered machine.

The company "may automatically check your version of the software and download software update or configuration changes, including those that prevent you from accessing the Services, playing counterfeit games, or using unauthorised hardware peripheral devices," the 7(b) clause of the revised EULA reads.

While the specifics are largely unclear, the statement suggests that Microsoft is taking a big stand against the usage of illegally obtained games, an ill practice that is significantly reducing the revenue of PC game developers alike. Whether this also extends to non-games applications, well the license explictly says games (for now), so probably not. Why Microsoft is differentiating between illegally obtained games and other apps is anyone's guess.

When contacted for details, a Microsoft spokesperson offered nothing more than a boilerplate statement. "We take claims of intellectual property infringement seriously and review them in accordance with our standard procedures. We also continue to review the content of our Windows Store periodically as described in this blog post, as we work to deliver a great customer experience and provide fair and transparent developer policies and enforcement."

It is unclear how exactly the company detects "counterfeit games" on a Windows 10 machine.

Within days of release, Windows 10 was criticised for its stand on privacy, with features like Wi-Fi sense and Cortana, amongst others, taking the blame. Since then the OS has been embrioled in one privacy related controversy after another.

Yes, Mr. Incredible and his family will be back.

Just in case you needed confirmation that The Incredibles 2 really is finally happening, Disney has unveiled a series of logo posters today at the D23 Expo showing off several upcoming Pixar sequels -- including the return of the Incredible brood.

Aside from The Incredibles 2, there are also one-sheets for Toy Story 4, Cars 3 andFinding Dory. Check them all out below:

Keep an eye on IGN's D23 index for everything from the show all weekend long...

How will Marvel’s Phase Three movies manage to top the spectacle of Phase Two? We just got our first glimpse at D23. Marvel just showed us the first footage from Captain America: Civil War and Doctor Strange—the latter of which hasn’t even started filming yet.

Marvel Studios president Kevin Feige came on stage and started with Doctor Strange. He said the film would push the boundaries of the cinematic universe. He confirmed Tilda Swinton and Chiwetel Ejiofor as cast members, along with Benedict Cumberbatch as Doctor Strange.

Cumberbatch couldn’t be at the event, but sent a video message where he promised “Girls, cars, explosions and a bit of astral projection into multiple dimensions. The usual fare.” And since director Scott Derrickson won’t start filming until November, Feige premiered a reel of concept art and visual imagery, set to music, to give fans an idea of what to expect. He said no one would ever see this reel again.

It started with images of New York City. Very much the world we know from The Avengers.Strange is the foremost neurosurgeon in the world, but he has a car accident that mangles his hands. His apartment and doctor’s office are all very high tech. He then goes on a quest to look for healing. There are images of foreign lands, possibly Chinese. It’s there he meets The Ancient One, played by Swinton, who begins to help him... but it “turns into much more.” We see images of all this, and it looks pretty sweeping and beautiful—but finally, the good stuff kicked in.

We see Strange standing beneath a huge black ball, him falling into a new dimension. Then he’s in what looks like space, very much in the mold of the colors of Guardians of the Galaxy. Back on Earth, we see cars floating in the air, streets twisting around like in Inception, Strange shooting yellow power out of his hands, and an image of his face in a sphere, almost like 2001.The reel ended with the only moving footage, of a CG Strange moving his hands to create the yellow power with his hands. Doctor Strange hits theaters in November 2016.

Next up was Captain America Civil War. Feige called it the end of the Captain Americatrilogy, and the “culmination of everything that has come before in the Cinematic Universe.” They are still shooting, with one week left in production, but both Chris Evans and Anthony Mackie flew straight from Germany to D23 to be on stage.

It starts with Captain America in a bedroom. “Eyes on target,” he says. Falcon is on the roof and launches a “red wing.” This is a small drone that shoots out of his pack, flies down to the street and under a car. It begins sending Falcon X-rays of the car, and they realize it’s a battering ram. Crossones jumps out of the back, Captain America jumps down to fight him, and he shoots a bomb onto Cap’s shield. Cap is forced to throw his shield into the air, so the explosion doesn’t hurt anyone. The two fight, Falcon flies in and Black Widow runs toward the action—this all takes place in a crowded foreign market place. Crossbones lands some huge punches on Cap with his mechanical arms, and there are knives embedded in them. Widow takes out four men. And just as Cap is about to beat Crossbones, he mentions Bucky. “What did you say?” Cap asks. Then the Marvel logo. We’re just getting started.

William Hurt’s character from The Incredible Hulk is talking in voiceover as we see Cap and the team walking through the Avengers headquarters. “The world owed you an unplayable debt. People see you as a hero. There are some who prefer the word vigilante—people are afraid.” Cap responds, “This job, you try to save as many as we can. Sometimes that doesn’t mean everyone.” Those last lines are over the ending shots of The Winter Soldier. Then we cut to the Ant-Manend credits scene. Bucky, aka The Winter Soldier, has been captured.

“Bucky, do you know me?” Captain America asks the captured Winter Soldier. “Your mother’s name was Sara,” he says.

And then we saw a montage of shots with some more voice over. We see Cap and Bucky walking to a bunker in the snow. “What would you call a group of enhanced individuals who inflict their will anywhere their choose?” someone asks. They show Vision, Scarlet Witch, Falcon, and other Avengers. Cap says, “Sometimes the safest hands are still our own.”

Then, finally, we see Tony Stark. “Sometimes I want to punch you in your perfect teeth.”

“We have no boundaries,” Stark says. “We’re no better than the bad guys.” “Is that how you see protection?” Cap retorts. A bunch of quick cuts, including Black Panther quickly, Martin Freeman in a room filled with monitors and more. No Spider-Man. Finally someone asks Cap “What do we do?” “We fight,” he says. We then see Cap, Bucky, Falcon, Widow and a few others running across an airport tarmac. That’s followed by a few quick, close cuts of fighting and then we see Hawkeye on top of Widow, trying to choke her. “We’re still friends, right?” she asks.

Then, after the title, one more scene. Hawkeye pulls up in a van and in the back of it, sleeping, is Scott Lang, played by Paul Rudd. “Oh my god, Captain America, it’s an honor” he says. He starts shaking his hand and staring at him. “I’m shaking your hand too long, right?” He turns around, sees Scarlet Witch and says, “I know you too, you’re great.” And then he just keeps touching Cap’s shoulders. “I know you know a lot of super people, so thanks for thinking of me,” Lang says. And that’s it.

Goodbye, morning sickness; hello, legal action

Kim Kardashian is no stranger to Instagram promotion, but a recent post has landed her in hot water with an unexpected enemy: the Food and Drug Administration. In a letter dated August 7th, the FDA's Office of Prescription Drug Promotion requested that Kardashian take down a post promoting Diclegis, a drug that combats morning sickness. The office reviewed Kardashian's post in response to a complaint about its validity and found that it was "false and misleading... it omits material facts." Kardashian posted her bit of promotion at the end of July. It's since been removed from Instagram, but you can see it below thanks to a screencap from Forbes:
Forbes / Kim Kardashian / Instagram

Kardashian asks her followers to check with their doctors before taking Diclegis, but that wasn't enough of a warning to escape the FDA's scrutiny. The drug hasn't been studied in women with hyperemesis gravidarum, a pregnancy condition that leads to nausea, vomiting, and dehydration. It can also cause severe drowsiness. That combination of uncertainty and side effects wasn't clearly stated in Kardashian's post, and that was the basis of the FDA's ruling. This isn't the first complaint levied against the makers of Diclegis, either: Duchesnay (the drug's producer) was notified of an infraction in November 2013 when the drug was first announced. "OPDP is concerned that Duchesnay is continuing to promote Diclegis in a violative manner," the FDA wrote.

KARDASHIAN MAY NEED TO POST A PHOTOGRAPHIC MEA CULPA

In order to right its wrongs, Duchesnay probably needs to enlist Kardashian's help. The company has to respond in writing to the FDA's letter by August 21st, confirming that it'll comply with the agency's request. (According to The Washington Post, Duchesnay is already proceeding with a response.) More importantly, it has to "disseminate truthful, non-misleading, and complete corrective messages about the issues discussed in this letter to the audience(s) that received the violative promotional materials." The FDA is making this request because of Duchesnay's pattern of bad behavior.

What does this mean for Kardashian? If the government has its way, she'll be posting a photographic mea culpa sometime soon: "To the extent possible, corrective messaging should be distributed using the same media, and generally for the same duration of time and with the same frequency that the violative promotional material was disseminated."

ABC Family

We have one thing to say after Pretty Little Liars' big reveal: WHAT?!

The truth was not what we were expecting, but we ain't mad at it. We're sad, definitely, because that was more heartbreaking than we could have possibly imagined. We're also confused, because we always are, with this show.

So who has been tormenting the liars all this time? Drumroll please...

A's real name is CeCe Drake (Vanessa Ray)!

But wait, you say, isn't Alison's older brother Charles supposed to be A? Turns out Charles eventually transitioned into Charlotte, who then went by CeCe, who did her damnedest to get close to her family until everything went very, very wrong.

We'll try to start from the beginning, and we say "try" because that was a heck of a lot of information to process in just an hour.

The girls were still at the prom, and still in search of Alison, who had just come "face to fAce" with A/Charles/Charlotte/CeCe. Ali woke up in a cell at Radley, with Jason and her dad seemingly dead on the floor outside the door.

Meanwhile, the girls (including Sara) ended up in a secret forest room back at the dance and met up with Mona, who for some reason appeared to be dressed as Little Red Riding Hood. Mona mumbled some mumbo jumbo about coding and tracking and determined that A/Charles' cell phone signal had something to do with the Carissimi Group, and assumed Rhys was the culprit.

ABC Family

The girls headed to Radley, and figured out the passcode via the date every year that Sara recieved a cupcake.

They found what definitely looked like the lair of a terrifying mastermind, complete with red glowing circles and holographic screens. Sara stayed behind as the doors closed, officially securing her place on our list of People Who Are Totally Sketchy.

The holographic screen revealed a live feed of Ali and A, right as the hooded figure turned around to reveal the familiar face of CeCe Drake as she explained that Mr. D and Jason were "not dead...yet."

CeCe proceeded to calmly and conveniently explain literally everything, starting with the fact that when she was a child named Charles and Alison was a baby, Alison was basically her doll. To stop her crying, Charles tried to give the baby a bath, but dropped her, only to be found by Mr. D.

Already not a fan of the fact that his son wanted to be his daughter instead, Mr. D saw this accident as an opportunity to stick Charles in Radley, where the poor kid became friends with Bethany.

That "friendship" ended up not working out so well when Bethany pushed Mrs. Cavanaugh off the edge of the building and blamed it on Charles. Mrs. D organized a pay off to get the death ruled a suicide.

Mrs. D continued to visit, and even bought Charles all the same clothes that she bought Alison, until eventually Charles was Charlotte. The family even hosted a funeral for Charles, so that everyone truly believed he was dead.

After Mrs. D arranged for Charlotte to take college classes, meaning she had a reason to get out of the building, Charlotte even managed to get close to her brother and sister duriby posing as Jason's girlfriend (without ever sleeping with him, because that's obviously disgusting) and becoming best friends with Alison.

Everything went wrong when Charlotte believed Bethany (who's a whole other bag of actual crazy) was out to hurt Alison, but she mistook Alison for Bethany and hit the wrong blonde with that rock, while Mona killed Bethany, thinking it was Ali, officially bringing us back to the beginning of the series.

Now here's where things get even more complicated.

Mona had been telling CeCe that the girls were happy that Alison was dead, which she was totally outraged about. She also thought she had seen Alison alive and watching over her friends, so she also wanted to see if she could get Alison to reveal herself by putting the girls in danger. She even got help from Sara Harvey, also known as the other red coat! Surprise!

After the girls thought they killed A once and for all in New York, CeCe left the country, but she had so much fun with her little game that she started it up again, just because!

She was determined, however, to convince her little sister that she's not a bad person. She may have run her car through Emily's house and nearly cut her in half, but Emily's totally fine now, and isn't that what counts?! Sure.

"I only got mad when you didn't listen!" CeCe says to Ali, before turning to the camera: "I know you won't believe me, but I love all of my dolls. That's why you're still alive."

Sara Harvey was also the Black Widow at Wilden's funeral, who was there to make sure that Wilden was dead so he couldn't keep Ali from telling her story.

After that, CeCe went home to say goodbye to her mother, only to find her dead. And that was the end of the story, because of the alarms that started going off.

Red Coat Sara was setting up a bomb to blow up Radley, and CeCe had the button. Luckily, Spencer managed to disarm the thing before CeCe pressed that button, only for nothing to happen. "Dammit!" was her dramatic response before she ran to the roof.

She prepared to jump while the girls begged her not to, so she didn't. "Game over," she said, and it really was, because the next shot was of the girls saying goodbye to Alison as they prepared to leave for college and Ali prepared to stay in Rosewood.

...And then the real twist of the night showed up to blow our minds.

It's five years later. Ali's standing in a classroom, writing "Mrs. Rollins" on the chalkboard, when the other girls run in.

"He's coming for you!" Aria says.

"We have to go!"

"We came back here for you, Ali, so move it!"

"It's too late. He's already here," says a newly arrived Spencer, and then everyone looks super worried. End of show.

We're going to guess Ali's married to that handsome doctor we teased back in June, but as for the "he" they're all talking about, we're at a loss. We couldn't even begin to guess who that might be right now, because our brains are spinning, and we might have to watch that finale several more times before we fully grasp it all.

The only thing we really know right now is that we did not get to see the moms get out of the basement, and it's bothering us a lot, so we're hoping for a deleted scene.
